A Fair Summer Night

About a week ago I headed off to the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair to do some evening shooting. Rides and people whizzing by on a summer evening often makes for warm, comforting photographs that help relive many childhood memories. Some of the best shots at events like these take place in an area with lots of people traffic and a stationary object like this food stand. You get the people rushing by, while others remain stationary as the rides glow all around. This has turned out to be one of my favorite photographs...
